Dr. Gilberto Corona D.V.M.


Dr. Corona, head veterinarian and owner of Parkway Animal Hospital, was born in the U.S. and raised in Mexico. He attended Guadalajara University in Mexico and received his D.V.M. in 1993. Dr. Corona practiced small and large animal medicine in the Guadalajara area for 5 years. He then came to the United States where he received accreditation from the Association of Veterinary Medicine of America (AVMA) to practice veterinary medicine in 2001. Before building Parkway Animal Hospital, Dr. Corona worked in private clinics and an emergency clinic. Dr. Corona’s hobbies are traveling and camping with his family.

Dr. Tejbir Sandhu D.V.M.


Dr. Sandhu, our loving veterinarian, was born and raised in India. He attended Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, India and received his D.V.M. degree in 1998. Before moving to Florida and making it his home, Dr. Sandhu worked as State Veterinarian at a mixed animal veterinary hospital in India, as Associate Veterinarian at SPCA Animal Hospital and at a 24 Hour emergency veterinary facility in Seattle. When he is not busy with his family, he is often found exploring the natural beauty of Floridian beaches with his camera.


Veterinarian Assistant

Kayla! has been around and had a love for animals her whole life. She is in college training to be a large animal veterinarian for performance horses. Outside of college she spends time rodeoing. She has two horses, Fancy and Pearl, and a chihuahua, Paisley. She enjoys meeting new people and helping animals.



Master Groomer

Marlon was born in Colombia and he came to the USA in 2000. He attended Nash Academy in 2004 and graduated as a Master Groomer. He has been working with Parkway for the past 4 years. Marlon loves animals and this is why he has 6 rescued cats and a dog. He is happily married with two beautiful children.


Office Manager

Saula moved from Oklahoma to Florida in 2005. She started as a receptionist at Parkway Animal Hospital; for almost 9 year now she has been a full time office manager. At the clinic, she interacts with clients and patients all day and loves to work with children and animals. Her hobbies include reading and helping people. She lives with her husband Miguel, her daughter, Chena, and her son, Jose. She has six pets; 4 dogs (one named Buffy) and two cats.



Office Administrator

Evelyn is the oldest daughter of Dr. Corona. She loves to help out in any way that she can and always looks at the positive side of things. She has a daughter named Valerie and a cat named Mia. She has lived her whole life in Florida and has helped out in the clinic since she was a young girl. She really loves working here with all the people and pets she sees everyday!



Victoria has been a receptionist here at Parkway for almost 5 years. She has 3 dogs and was born and raised in Florida. She loves her amazing children and husband with all her heart. She is a firm believer in god  and puts him before anything. She loves to meet new people and see different faces everyday here.




Gaby is a receptionist here at Parkway. She is from Los Reyes La Paz in Mexico and came here at a very young age. Since then Sarasota has been her second home. She has a German Shepard, Champion and a tabby, Midnight. She loves working here; she learns something new every day.




Jessica was born & raised here in Sarasota. She has an English Bulldog named Bubba & a cat named Mr. Pickles. On her free time she likes to be with her fiancé, family & friends. She loves working here—every day we learn something new!
