When you first enter our hospital, you will be greeted by one of our receptionists. They are here to answer you questions about animal care supplies or begin your pet’s appointment.
Every pet is weighed on our walk-on scale before their visit with the doctor. Keeping an accurate record of your pet’s weight is an important part of his or her health examination. We always keep your wait time to a minimum. However, emergencies or very sick pets may cause a delay in the schedule. If you have to wait, make yourself comfortable with a bottle of water or a soft drink from the cooler and a magazine.
Parkway animal hospital has four examination rooms. These rooms are designed with benches for clients to seat if they wish. Posters and pictures on the wall are meant to be attractive as well as informative.
Located next to room three and it is where the Master Groomer specializes in grooming your animal. Many of our clients take advantage of the brushing and bathing services we provide for both dogs and cats. All dogs have been boarding with us for more than 7 days are treated to a complementary bath, with their owner’s permission of course.
This is the central hub of the hospital. This is where we examine hospitalized patients and perform most medical procedures. The speciality light over the treatment island illuminates the tiniest slivers, ulcers and ingrown hair. We also perform dental procedures in this room.
This is the Surgery room where the doctors perform medical surgery. It is where we have our CO2 Laser which the doctors use to cut or vaporize skin and soft tissues without hurting the pet.
The kennels are in full vision of our Treatment Area, Surgical Suite and Doctor’s office so that patients in these kennels are under constant supervision.
Parkway Animal Hospital has an on-site laboratory which allows us to run many of the necessary tests which your pet may require. Our laboratory is equipped with a microscope, centrifuge, urine refractometer, QBC vet auto reader and a Vet test analyzer.
Digital X-Ray Room
There are times when it takes a look inside the body to asses a pet’s health. Digital X-rays allow us to look at more than just bones; we can also view the shape, size and clarity of the body’s organs. Sometimes we can also see objects that don’t belong to the body, like golf balls, sewing needles, coins, among others.
This is where we store a variety of medications for your pets. Having a well-stocked pharmacy allows us to provide you with your pet’s medication immediately. Prescription Medicines now available ONLINE.
